A Casa Fox
In 2001 Melissa Fox started a casa catering, bringing her art of Latin home cooking and entertainment to her clients in New York City. Word quickly spread, not only of the unique, home-grown atmosphere of her catered events, but of her classic dipping sauces and mouth-watering mini empanadas, a modern twist on a classic Latin American staple—bite-sized, crescent-shaped pastry morsels with succulent fillings. A second business was hatched. With a casa foods she now packages and sells her signature treats around town. In 2008 she opened A Casa Fox, a rustic style restaurant on the Lower East Side. Visitors from all around came to enjoy a taste of the down-home Central American dining experience. The restaurant has just closed after ten years so Melissa can devote her creativity completely to her event catering and packaged foods.
LOGO
We designed a lovely logo full of warmth to reflect the atmosphere and spirit of the space and food.
packaging
A Casa Fox needed packaging for their tasty sauces as well as labels where they could easily write the ever changing inspirational empanada ingredients. Thanks to their insta-feed for capturing the packaging!
Website
We designed the original restaurant website for a casa fox. As happens often with restaurants, companies that offer specific tools for their needs swoop in and take over often including a website with signup so we'll hold off on the link. Feel free to check it out on your own for amazing catering though. Yum!
Signage
This banner stood strong through the years of the restaurants Lower East Side life.
